3R Inversiones manages and advises the wealth of families and entrepreneurs from Asunción. No proprietary products, no third-party commissions: the firm's only compensation comes from the client, and the only mandate is theirs.
3R Inversiones was founded by three partners with careers in banking, capital markets and transaction advisory across the Southern Cone. The firm was built on one conviction: in Paraguay, family wealth deserves the same analytical rigour as an institutional transaction.
The firm serves a deliberately limited number of families and institutions. Each portfolio combines local fixed income, international markets and real assets, structured around jurisdiction, liquidity and the generation that follows.
Investment advisory firm incorporated in Paraguay
The two firms operate independently, with separate teams and mandates. What they share is judgement: proprietary analysis, discretion and a network of institutional relationships in the region that few wealth managers can offer.
The firm takes its name from its three founding shareholders. There is no handoff to a junior team: a partner manages your portfolio from start to finish.
Mr. Rojas is a founding partner of 3R Inversiones, based in Asunción, where he leads portfolio management and investment strategy. Prior to founding 3R, he was Assistant Portfolio Manager at North Rock LLC in London, where he co-managed a global volatility strategy that delivered positive, sustained returns across the strategy's 37 active months. Previously he was an Analyst and Assistant Portfolio Manager at ExodusPoint Capital, also in London, co-managing a global long volatility strategy with double-digit annual returns on capital employed and positive PnL in 25 of 28 months.
Before joining ExodusPoint, he spent nine years at Citi in London as an Equity Options Trader, managing risk and execution in equity derivatives for the bank and its clients across multiple sectors, as well as large risk-arbitrage positions in multi-currency transactions. He was consistently his team's top producer.
He graduated with honours in Economics from Grinnell College and read the General Course in Economics at the London School of Economics. He speaks Spanish and English, with intermediate Portuguese and basic French.
Mr. Ravazzani is a founding shareholder of 3R Inversiones and a founding partner of Aventino, based in Asunción. Prior to founding Aventino, he was Head of Investment Banking for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay at Itaú, based in Asunción, and previously Head of Investment Banking for Chile at Itaú, based in Santiago. Before that he was Regional Managing Director at L Catterton, a New York-based private equity fund, Managing Director of Hydrochile, and responsible for Latin American private investments at Eton Park Capital Management in New York.
Before joining Eton Park, he spent 13 years in investment banking, principally in Latin American M&A out of New York: he was Managing Director and Global Head of Financial Sponsors at Santander, Head of Southern Cone Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley, and an M&A banker at Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan. He serves on the Investment Committee of FIS II, a venture capital fund based in Santiago, Chile.
He graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in Economics and International Relations, and holds a master's degree from the University of Essex and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He speaks Spanish, English and Italian.
Mr. Rodríguez Alcalá is a founding shareholder of 3R Inversiones and a founding partner of Aventino, based in Asunción. Prior to founding Aventino, he was part of the Itaú BBA Investment Banking team for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, based in Asunción.
Before joining Itaú, he spent nine years in investment banking and financial advisory in Paraguay: he was Senior Manager and country head of Deloitte Financial Advisory in Paraguay and, previously, worked at Alpax, a regional M&A advisory firm based in Miami.
He graduated in Business Administration and Economics from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. He speaks Spanish and English.
From portfolio construction to multigenerational planning, for clients whose financial lives cross borders.
Bespoke portfolios spanning local fixed income, global equities, private markets and real assets — built around the client's risk profile and long-term objectives.
Integrated financial strategy aligning liquidity, growth, tax efficiency and legacy — coordinated across the jurisdictions where the wealth sits.
Multigenerational structures designed to transfer wealth carefully, preserve family harmony and honour the family's values across decades.
Treasury solutions, business liquidity events and tailored advice for entrepreneurs navigating transitions, expansions or capital raises.
Curated access to private equity, agribusiness, infrastructure and real estate opportunities in Paraguay and the Mercosur region.
Tailored advisory and discretionary management for foundations, family offices and corporate balance sheets that require institutional rigour.
Every recommendation begins with documented analysis of the instrument, the issuer and the scenario — the standard an institutional transaction demands.
A partner knows every portfolio in detail. Limiting the number of relationships is what makes it possible to plan with the next generation at the table.
The firm neither issues nor distributes proprietary products and accepts no retrocessions. The client's fee is the only revenue — and it is in writing.
We begin with a conversation — understanding objectives, obligations, values and the complexity of the client's financial life. No two clients are alike; no two plans should be either.
Together we build an investment policy and a wealth plan calibrated to those objectives, liquidity needs and risk tolerance — spanning local and international markets.
The team executes precisely across custodians and jurisdictions, integrating tax, estate and operational considerations from day one.
We monitor, rebalance and adapt — with transparent reporting and a dedicated adviser who knows the situation in depth and is always a call away.
The first conversation carries no cost and no obligation: an hour to understand the situation and say, candidly, whether we can add value.
